Join SIUC and community partners for It’s My Park Day at Tompkinsville Park as we come together to care for and improve our shared green spaces.
Participants will help with:

• Park clean-up and litter removal
• Weed clearing and general maintenance
• Preparing the space for spring and summer pollinator planting

This is a meaningful opportunity for youth and community members to give back, build pride in their neighborhood, and contribute to environmental stewardship efforts that support a healthier park for everyone.

Join SIUC for an afternoon of fun, creativity, and community connection at our Play in the Park event!
This is a relaxed, family-friendly space where youth and community members can come together to enjoy outdoor games and activities including:

• Jenga
• Hula hooping
• Group games and interactive activities
• Photo opportunities at the Casita

This event is all about joy, movement, and bringing people together in a positive outdoor environment. Friends and families are encouraged to attend and participate.

A Pause Between Bites is a thoughtfully curated experience that brings people together over food, conversation, and connection. Hosted at Staten Island Urban Center (SIUC) and presented in collaboration with Destiny’s Happy Hour and Padro Kitchen, this gathering invites guests to engage in something deeper than a typical night out.

This is more than a 4-course meal—it’s an opportunity to be present.
Each course is paired with guided dialogue, encouraging guests to share, reflect, and connect in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Whether you come with friends or arrive solo, the experience is designed to feel inclusive, intentional, and community-driven.

The evening includes a full dining experience with:

• Salad, appetizer, entrée, and dessert
• A complimentary glass of sangria
• Interactive prompts and conversation moments throughout

Menu options will include poultry, fish, and vegetarian selections to accommodate a variety of preferences.
