Four a.m. in the hood
As pollution fills the air,
I feel the cold wind as it passes by my skin
As I open my window I hear sanitation trucks
and I can smell the stench of the garbage and the grinding of the compactor
I can also see the smoke going off into the air.
This is how pollution is caused at 4am in the hood
