Embodying Shaolin: a conversation on resistance and resilience. Join Snug Harbor Cultural Center's HB West with Jahtiek Long Art (Creative Climate Awards artist, 2020), Kelly Vilar (founder and CEO, Staten Island Urban Center) and Nati Linares (founder, ISLA, and communications organizer for New Economy Coalition) in a discussion on community narratives, the future of the (sub)urban waterfront, and how arts/culture can be a catalyst for social change. Learn how local artists and cultural producers are redefining Staten Island’s story of place.
